I'm an advanced practitioner of Rolfing®, craniosacral and visceral work – hands-on forms of bodywork to sculpt the body into better alignment and integration. One of my friends calls what I do "embodywork." I like that, as my work is most exciting when work on the body makes my clients feel more embodied, more able to "be here now," more alive as spirit in flesh. The body is such a mystery, sometime a vehicle of pain and suffering, sometimes a portal of mind-boggling spaciousness.
Embodiment is something I'm after for myself as well, learning how to live a real and embodied life in the real world. Thus a long history of seeking and psychological and spiritual work, including 13 years and counting in the Diamond Approach.
I lived in Japan for 15 years and Maui for 10 – I don't move quickly! – and am currently feeling quite at home in Seattle.
